Arctic Edge Synchronized Skating

The goal of the Arctic Edge Synchronized Skating Teams is to provide a positive environment to develop skating and team skills for local and regional competition. Our focus is to foster sportsmanship, teamwork and the development of life skills. As proud as we are of all of our teams’ competitive accomplishments, equally important to us is making sure our skaters value, understand, and embrace teamwork.

Tryouts

Arctic Edge Synchronized Skating will hold tryouts annually. The evaluator(s) will determine team placement based on skill, age, behavior, size and team levels available for the current season. The decision of the evaluator(s) is final, and team placement will be emailed to all skaters once the evaluation process has concluded. Once finalized, the roster will be emailed to all team members. The decision to place a skater on a team, after teams have been set, is done so at the discretion of the coaches.

Teams

Arctic Edge aims to field competitive synchronized skating teams. The number and levels of teams may change each season due to a variety of factors including United States Figure Skating parameters, skaters’ ages, and their levels of ability. Typically, teams will have more than 8 skaters. This allows the team to have a full roster in case of injury, illness, or other unforeseen situations.

We look forward to working with you in the future as we continue teaching our skaters to work hard, practice with purpose, and dare to dream!
